The event was horrible yes; my husband was there, but my grandpa's birthday is the 11th too and it's been hard for him too. We were greatly affected in Chicago because of all the bomb threats, but not what it must have been like for those in NY or like my husband who was military police at the time and lost a lot od friends. The birth of a baby on the 11th of September is a wonderful way to say "Let freedom ring!" it is a sign that life goes on and though freedom comes with a cost, there are blessings out of it (like a new baby:) Good luck to all of you, God bless!

It's been a while since I've checked in...Jenni, I think that it is wonderful that your due date is the 11th. We all went through such a sad day in history together, we need to have having to celebrate. Thank you for your comments Jenni,Norah and Nicole :) I also posted a picture for my 18th week, which was three weeks ago now. WOW!It goes by so fast! I was in maternity clothes before Christmas which I think that I was right about 11 weeks. I am a total third pregnancy...Pop, pop, pop! I have to have a third c-section so my due date is now July 12th and it's a BOY!!! His name is Max. I have an 8 year old son and a 5 year old girl. Well, I have been bed-ridden with headaches that have been going on for 6 months. UGH! I just found out that it is a pinched nerve. Take care and I will pray that all of your pregnancies go well :)

Don't feel bad about it, its just a date you know, it only happens to be connected to a very bad event. Maybe its time it starts to get connected to more happier events :)
Its not even certain that you'll have the baby that day exactly.

I dont think the back drop matters, you would look good stood in front of a land fill! I'm not due until september 11th, im getting a bit bored by the way every ones face drops when i tell them my due date! Even here in England it is such a big deal, and i feel awful about what happened i just wish i wasn't due that day! Do you know what you are having yet? xxx
