All of these women are so different and equally beautiful!! I refuse to allow the marketing and advertising people have me feeling "abnormal" and obsessed with looking "fat and pregnant".
Luckystar - you should be a little nicer to people. I heard that your pregnancy disposition can affect your baby's disposition. I'm sure you don't want to be awake 24 hours at a time because your baby is all onery and colicky.

Jessica, you look wonderful. I hope you send in a pic when your in your 3rd trimester, your going to be one of those beautiful pregnant women that everyone wants for magazenes.
And as to Luckystar, you are being quite rude to people here arnt you? I meen, if someone told me that I looked skinny in my 12th week, I would take it as a complement. I read both her comments, and I didn't think either of them were mean. Yours on the other hand are quite rude. I meen honestly, saying that a woman must have been as fat as an elefant. Maybe you should think before you post.

I don't know del. LuckyStar may have been rude but Cece is certainly insulting these models by making them seem any less than pregnant because they're not showing. It does seem a bit like jealousy coming out. if you had seen me at 14 weeks i would have looked just like this girl. It all depends on your age, how many babies you've had already, and how much you weighed before pregnancy. the younger you are, the smaller you'll be, especially if it is your first baby and you are a small person. i'm 19 and this is my first baby.

WOW! Last time I looked I thought this website was here for pregnant woman to come on and support one another? I hate to get involved with this one but I'm sorry, To call someone "fat as an elephant" is just wrong. We have to go through enough emotions and changes without having to hear someone say that were fat. Everyone is different. When I was pregnant for my first child I was 98 ponds and didnt show till I was 6 months. I'm 4 months now and I look like I should be giving birth. Can't we try not to call eachother names.

Shandy I couldnt agree more. I have found this site to be very helpful and onformative but negative comments dont really help someone who is feeling very self concious about themselves

You "girls" need to grow up and act like Women, remember your going to be role models. Your maturity levels provide proof that birth control should be mandatory until you prove to be capable of acting like a grown-up. Everyone is different and will carry their children differently, anyone that doesnt understand it should evaluate their capability to care for a child.

I'm new to this site, but just wanted to add that I have had two little girls, and had my first at 21. I am now 25 and having my 3rd, and both of my previous pregnancies I looked 4-5 months pregnant when I delivered. I was so proud to be pregnant and people couldn't even tell. So please understand that even though some woman hate looking "SO PREGNANT" that others WISH for that. I know I do. My doctors were running around like chickens with their heads cut off thinking I was WAYYYY early. I had a woman in the baby section suggest that I get an ab roller cause she thought I had already had my baby, when I was actually OVERDUE! I am hoping with this pregnancy that I can actually LOOK pregnant. Also, keep in mind that when women are tiny like this, they get just as much negative criticism as everyone else. We are just as sensitive as the "bigger" women, and we get haggled by our doctors for having "SMALL" babies ... it is just genetics people. Let's not fight about it, let's just try to be understanding and supportive of each other.

I have to agree with Katrina, alot of people don't understand that "small" women get critisized for not being big enough during pregnancy. I hear all the time, "gosh, you need to put on some wieght" "you better feed that baby better" Well, I was small last time and had an almost 8 pound baby.

Isn't that the truth Jess? If I never hear that again, I will be pleased as punch ... LOL I hope you all have healthy babies ... whether you are thin and people can't even TELL you are pregnant when you are overdue, or whether you feel like the New Years Blimp ... Why worry about what society says you should look like while pregnant. In the end all that matters is that you have a healthy baby and that you are happy so you can raise a happy child, and trust me, from a mom with two kids at home, 4 and 2, your kids WILL pick up your attitude, so if you are happy, THEY will be happy! Oh I also meant to add that one thing to keep in mind is this: 35 lbs feels like 35 lbs on both the tiny moms and the bigger moms ... So we may not LOOK like we are carrying as much as you, but our backs hurt just the same, we can't sleep, we can't breathe, all the same complaints as everyone else. If anything, I think with my first daughter who was so tall, and I was so small with, I think I was so small because she layed long ways, and took up the space for my LUNGS ... LOL I can't even tell you how many times her feet were STUCK in my ribs and I had to wiggle them out ... LOL Pregnancies aren't meant as a competition, just please keep that in mind. It is a beautiful miracle that we are all blessed with that many women will never get the chance at! So just thank your God, or lucky stars ... whichever you prefer!

I think the model is beautiful! Congrats on being pregnant! I am only 11 weeks, but I was just looking through all the models. Its nice to see that everybody grows at their own pace. Katrina H., I loved your comments. They made me smile :). I gained 50 lbs with my first baby because I got toxemia. I only lost a little over half the pregnancy weight by the time I found out I am pregnant again, and my son isn't even a year old yet! So I am sure I will look bigger with this pregnancy. But it really doesn't matter. What matters is that all of us have amazing bodies (no matter what the size or weight) that are capable of building another life inside of us!! Pregnancy is AMAZING!!!!

oh my goodness. what kind of example are yall setting for your children?? pregnancy is beautiful. im 18 and i just had my little girl. im on here to support everyone whos going through it just like i did. as for the name calling, try to grow up before your children do.

wow, I agree everyone needs to just be nice to everyone else. This is supposed to be a support site. You should just consider yourselves lucky you can have children. I cant even have a baby.

I'm back ladies and now that i'm in my 16th week - I'm so happy that I finally look unmistakably (sp?) pregnant - as opposed to possibly having ate too much rice for dinner. I feel so free - I put the scale away and I think I've finally stopped unconsciously holding in my stomach. This may sound strange but I love to see my belly growing...it's comforting for me because I know me little miracle is growing according to schedule. I hate what our society has done to us - eating disorders and poor body images are so prevalent. I encourage those of who need it to not be ashamed to get professional help with loving and accepting our rapidly changing bodies. (We are beautiful in every single way - Christina A.)
By the way, Lucky Star - I reread your comment and was freshly offended for that poor woman. I flagged it as inappropriate.

Being we are all "INDIVIDUALS" I dont think it's a good idea to COMPARE OURSELVES to the women MODELING their BELLIES on this WEBSITE.
Because in some cases you may see similarities, whereas in other cases you may not. It does not even make since to compare yourself with the women on this site because with each passing day (those that are pregnat) are GROWING, our bodies are continually CHANGING with each passing day.

Aw you guys are all attacking each other, you know everybodies body is different, and hello her little guy is barely 4 inches long, she shouldn't be whale sized, lol. I think she looks gorgeaous! I actually weighed 90 lbs (5ft tall), pre pregnancy. With me, I show really quick and I get really big for having such a little body. Thats because when you are that small, the growing baby and uterus dont really have much to hide behind. Therefore I looked like I was six months when in reality I was only like 4 months. I love being pregnant!!! Good luck to all and stop talking smack to your fellow preggos!!

I'm almost 14 weeks and just a little bump and I am average size. My friend who was really tiny started showing really early and her belly got huge, but it was all baby. Just because you are slim, it doesn't mean you will show later. Just something for all the bickering people to think about. If all the weight is in your belly, that is what counts.

I liked what Tiffany wrote. We are all growing at different speeds. I am a recovering bulimic and when started to really do better with it when I found out I was pregnant. I have gained a little pregnancy weight and also a little weight from actually keeping my food down. And I'm not ashamed of either one. I feel healthier and I know my baby will be healthy too. We're all going to gain weight and when people start to realize that, the world will be a more peaceful place. some of the lady's comments have really made me feel better about the weight I have gained, but some really need to think about what they're going to say before they type. it's all about being healthy, feeling great and having healthy babies and less about what we look like while we're carrying our precious ones.

Saying that she's small would be like me commenting on the photo's of those who are 7 weeks and have a huge belly. "You look bloated and fat, considering your baby is still the size of a grain of rice". That would be rude, and yet people think it's acceptable the other way around.
