I've read/heard that bellydance is good for pregnancy because it helps you identify and control muscles that aren't commonly identified. During pregnancy contraction of muscles is good for endurance during labor but more importantly relaxation of muscles to let labor progress with out tension.
I have hears that bellyrolls shouldn't be done at some point of gestation. Ask your doctor if in doubt.
