With my first baby, I didnt show until I was 7 months, then it popped out!! No one especially the father didnt believe i was pregnant, he thought I was trying to get him to marry me (jerk)

Why does something have to be wrong, just because some of the women are NOT SHOWING even at 15 weeks?
I can't stress enough that every woman's body is different. And how you take care of your body (includining what you eat and how often you excercise) play a big part on how your body will react to pregnancy.

I totally agree that it is perfectly possible. Although Im one of the larger people. LOL. My belly is growin like MADD! A lot of people really dont know the way the body can work. I envy the fact that u have no strech marks!!!! BLEH

shame on whoever says shame on me. if u keep so serious with life u'll have frown face babies who don't laugh. am highly showing at 14 weeks ppl say am having twins but u know what if i was having twins i'd be the happiest woman alive.and if i had a flat belly like hers, id show off to all those showing so big .....
For those who donno me, check my comments on other preggy mom u'll know ma not rude i was just shocked to see someone who has such a flat belly i know for sure that we are all diff. if u could see me u'd say am having twins, it used to annoy me, not anymo. I'd like to have twins.

HAPPY NEW YEAR from me too! As for my pregnancy - i'm doin' pretty well. Meanwhile i'm almost 23 weeks, and despite my strong stomach muscle(you're right Bec - that's the explanation my doctor gave me)i'm looking fat enough and showing much better:)Don't worry,bein' sure that everything with my baby is ok, i've never felt hurt from anyone of you:))Kisses to everyone!!!

I was so glad to see your pic on the 15 week calendar. I'm just now 15 weeks and not showing yet either. I am a pretty small girl myself and while my stomach isn't as toned as yours...it's definitely flat. I was so bummed after looking at the first few 15 week models b/c they all have definite baby bellies, i thought that maybe i wasn't as far along as the dr. thought. but seeing you with no belly either relieved me of a little stress. I'm sure I'll start showing soon enough. My mom didn't show with me until she was 7 months along and then it wasn't very much so maybe I just won't get very big.

you look great!! you say your now in wk 23...your probably still small, and will still continue to be small all the way through!! I gained 20 w/ my first and had weight issues to begin w/ but she is beautiful and 3 now (and I am having my 3rd one now...into which I am not as small as you on my 3rd haha..but they are concerned about the baby measuring small which just put me in a tizzy 'cuz they are saying something is wrong with it.) but Good luck! you look great, and I can almost guarentee if this is your first (or second) the weight will melt off w/ in a month!!

wow...lol, just read through all the comments on your page, crazy! ;) Right now I'm at 15 weeks along, with my 3rd baby and I look like your picture up top. It's defenitely a plus to have a good figure and athletic body before you get pregnant. It helps in the delivery process as well. Anyway, congrats!!!

HELLO! No one else finds this weird?? I'm an ER nurse, and have seen my share of Pregancys, not to mention I've have two myself. Yes, every woman is different, but you should have gained at LEAST 10 LBS by 15 weeks, and from the pictures, it certainly dosent look that way...Are U concerned about wt. gain? Maybe you should talk with a nutrition advisor...You look very UNHEALTHY for 15 weeks. SORRY...

During this stage, your uterus should be at least the size of a large grapefruit, which is very hard to hide under a skinny person like yourself...Are u SURE your 15 weeks, Cuz' I doubt it...

I disagree with the comment Bec. Wrote: about women who have stonge ab muscle showing very little or not at all. It's quite the contrary...Women who are small boned, and have a higher muscle mass TEND to show EARLIER...

Congatulations Maria! You look beautiful!! It is too bad some feel the need to make comments that are not necessary...what ever your doctor says is most likely right since she/he knows you and your body best...i havent gained any weight yet and I am 13 1/2 weeks...i hardly doubt in a week and a half i'll gain 10 pounds!!! Wow you look amazing! Please keep us updated with pics throughout your weeks. I am almost 15 weeks and I am not showing, only gained 2 pounds but im chubby haha. You have an amazing body and im sure your just gonna wake up one morning and have a big bump but you will def walk out of the hospital close to that tiny size :)

Maria, the only way you are going to prevent these women that have criticized you, from criticizing you more is,... by proving them wrong. Show them that you and your baby are fine. Post your picture as soon as you start showing. So that way, you will prevent these kinds of comments. Right? God Bless you and your baby.

I am 17 weeks and have been concerned with the size of my belly (it's a little bigger than yours, Maria, but not much). I, too, have strong stomach muscles (I play a lot of sports), so maybe that's why. But you know, I come on this website to compare myself to the models so that I can have some peace of mind that I am normal, even though I don't have a belly. And that my baby is healthy. I have lost 8 pounds since I became pregnant (bad morning sickness), so I am nowhere near the 10lb mark, Amy. And when you say things like that, it makes some of us feel like we're doing something wrong, and that's not fair. Maria, I wish you all the best, and I would like to see a photo of your belly further along. I think that will make me, at least, feel more at ease! Take care everyone!

Hi again! I'm 31 weeks now, have a big belly (think it's big enought even for you Ami:) and i can hardly believe there was a time i looked like that. Don't be concerned,Cindy, everything will be fine with you too. You will start showing sooner or later (i started in 20 w), no way to avoid it:)) I posted my picture-you can see it in the 20 week album, and some of these days i'll post another made several days ago (30 weeks).

Hey girl, you look great. I'm 15 weeks too. I only gained 2 lbs. so far. My doctor says that's fine. I'm showing more than you but i lost weight everywhere else. Amy...I am also 15 weeks and have not only gained any weight but lost a pound during my pregnancy so far. I brought this up to my mid-wife and she said it was okay...some woman just don't gain as much weight...but she's sure I'll put it on during the remainder of my pregnancy. She definitely did not send me to a nutrition advisor or tell me I was unhealthy!! I wouldn't want you for my RN if I ever went to an ER. I can't believe that you never saw anybody thin and pregnant before. Sorry but I found your posts to be offensive!!

I am also an RN and am pregnant with my 3rd child. Although my abs aren't quite that toned, I am in good shape and not showing much either. I am 15 weeks and have only gained 1 pound and my OB says my baby and I are both doing excellent and not to worry. And to repeat the obvious, every woman gains and looks differently even during different pregnancies. Maria, you look amazing. Good luck to you all!

Geez...lots of bitter people but lots of nice people at the same time. I guess she's had her baby by now yeah? CONGRATS! I'm 15 weeks along now. ish. None of you women pay any attention to these people out here who are saying you are not healthy. I spent 5 years in the Marine Corps. I had my daughter while I was in. During the time I was pregnant with her I only gained 20lbs total. I ate right and exercised because that was what I was used to. I didn't start shwoing until I was about 6 months. She is a perfectly healthy child (now almost 4 yrs). With this pregnancy, I have already gained 40lbs LOL (though I think I lost 4 somewhere in there recently due to some stress) 40lbs at 15 weeks yeah...not looking forward to the massive weight gain at the end.

amy there is no way you're really a nurse. if so then you need to go back to school. i'm 15 weeks and have only gained 3 pounds, i just saw my doctor and he said i've gained the perfect amount of weight. not too little, not too much. maria, congratulations on the baby, im sure it will be healthy and beautiful. ignore all the haters, you look great.

I became alarmed after coming across numerous pics of waif-thin ladies that were already showing quite a bit @ this stage. I'm not waif-thin, but have a tall, athletic build somewhat like yours and was relieved to see how small your belly was at this point too. Can't wait to check out your later pics! The baby is the size of an apple at 15 weeks so it is perfectly possible to be completely flat still, especially if you have a toned stomach pre-pregnancy
