I think is just out of sheer ignorance that women say negative things about women who don't have huge pregnant bellies. Plenty of women carry the full nine months and don't even know they are pregant.. Ever seen "True Story-I didn't know I was pregnant" on the discovery channel?
Everyone needs to educate themselves and stop hating on women like her because she probably won't have any stretchmarks and they will!!!

That's what my belly looks like right now too! I'm about 27 weeks and have gained 17lbs so far (in the last 4 weeks) I am fortunate my eating habits have not changed at all, and it's just my belly that is now more of a full longways watermelon shape and hard.

Everyone is different.

i agree it takes guts to post pictures here! most of the comments are sickening, i think they should just be disabled so we could see the pictures and see how different every woman is. PERIOD. being overweight during pregnancy is not exactly healthy, yet chubby girls get such nice comments, and thin girls get only rude comments!

It just doesn't look like she's pregnant. BUT I'm not hating lol.

If you ask me she has such a long torso baby has so much room to grow. I am 27 weeks now and I have a very short torso so baby just sticks straight out.

am i really the only one who noticed she's holding her tits straight up in the air like a pair of guns???

Ok, I'm not that surprised that her belly is small, you can still see that she is pregnant. I'm 26 weeks with my second child and my belly looks less pregnant than hers. (to bad i can't post a pic cuz the site says it's broke right now.) I'm tired of people making rude comments on how i should look bigger. its awkward and embarrassing. no one says anything to the people who gain weight like a whale! (not that i think there's anything wrong with gaining "too much"). but anyway, my point is that the mothers weight gain and size of her belly have no direct indication of the baby's health. you should keep your ignorant comments to yourselves. it's the same as when people think they can tell a skinny girl to "gain some weight" and that "she doesn't have enough curves". people can't always control their body shape! she's having a healthy baby, and probably can't wait to start showing more so she can show it off.

Anyway... I did want to mention one thing about the pic. Why is she holding her boobs straight up in the air like a pair of guns???

ok, the pic does look a little strange but it's because she seems to be stretching upward, not sucking in. who would try to suck in while taking a pregnancy pic? and yes you can suck in while your pregnant or atleast i can, if you can't something may be wrong...

and to everyone who has a comment about weight gain (stephii) you need to keep your (jealous)comments to yourself unless you know what your talking about. i am 6 months pregnant and weigh right at 120 lbs., at 2 months when i found out i was right at 120 lbs. i have had 0 net weight gain, th ereason for that is i had morning sickness in the beginning which caused me to lose weight in other places but my belly continued to get bigger. my baby is healthy and on track, maybe your gaining too much weight....

My baby girl was born healthy and beautiful...and is now 10 months! Again, I really appreciate the sweet ladies who have given their thoughts...bless all of you:)

The only reason you wouldn't be able to suck your stomach in is if you had NO stomach muscles. Otherwise, when you suck it in you are probably not seeing any difference because your uterus is in the way.

They did studies during the holocaust, ladies, and they discovered that a woman's hair and nails will actually fall completely out before that baby has any want for nutrition. Just because someone doesn't carry like you does not mean there is something wrong. Perhaps your larger belly is the exception; not the rule. Or maybe we're all different like snowflakes---did you think of that???

And to Tiffany who wanted to know "where the hell is the baby"; it's in her belly silly, it has moved all her organs up and out of the way and it is sitting cozily resting on her back. She may not even show till the end. It has happened before. Do your research before you criticize.

YES! ANOTHER mommy that looks exactly like I do at 26 weeks. I don't feel so alone anymore. This is my 4th pregnancy and I never gained anything with each of them, yet never got ill. All my kids were over 8 pounds. :)

Having a tiny stomach just means you're lucky enough not to get marks or extra skin, other's are just jealous.

There is no "norm" for pregnancy...everybody shows different and for different reasons. I'm on my second pregnancy and I'm 26 weeks now and I just started getting a baby bump. Main reason for that...I have a tilted uterus...so I guess it just hides more inside me. But as long as your baby measures fine and is healthy that is all that matters. Cris you look great! And congrats to you for that...a lot of women would be jealous ;)

WELLL. I was a size 0 before, and i've gained a lot of weight. I just think people are different and gain weight at different times. some women only gain like, 15lbs while others gain 90! It just depends!! Just for the record tho, I can suck in my stomach at 26 weeks. I can't suck in my uterus, but my stomach just right about it and i can suck it in still. i dont see how we couldn't.
