i think its crazzy how mean some of the comments were. some women only gain tummy. and still have healthy babies. my mother was a size 5 the day she went in to have me, left the birthing center in a size 3. she gained enough to have a healthy baby and no excess.

you look great honey. congrats on the baby.

yah pretty much jennifer is ignorant,if your underwieght your suppose to gain 35-45 pounds, if yoru wight is normal yoru suppose to gain 25-35 pounds, and if yoru overweight yoru suppose to gain 15-25 pounds. Having small baby's isnt usually a goodthing for teh baby,i dont know who lied to you....while your pregnant its all about the baby and you shouldnt be focused on looking cute, you should be focused on the baby's health!....

i totally agree in the healthy eating and keeping active while pregnant (and after). i know first hand how important it is, for the woman and her baby. this is my first pregnancy and i virtually stopped excercising and started eating whatever i felt like. now im 37wks pregnant, i've gained around 30kgs, and developed gestational diabetes. my baby is already the size of a full-term baby, and is going to be induced in a week as he is just gaining too much weight.
next time i will know better - i just hope i havent caused my baby any long term damage.

less you gain, less to lose. There is definitely such a thing as taking it too far in the "I'm pregnant so now I can eat whatever and however much I want department". I have alot of respect for women who work to be HEALTHY while pregnant. You look wonderful dear. Congrats on the breastfeeding as well.

Some of you are too wrapped up in weight. Who cares? You can worry about it later, in the meantime, enjoy your pregnancies. Just because you're small doesn't mean you're going to have a healthier baby than a woman who gained more. There's so much more that goes into it. Relax ladies and just enjoy this time.

Hi girls. Just to let you all know I had helthy baby boy 3,6kg.
The best we can do for our little ones is to live helthy lifestyle while and before pregnancy. Its not about lbs-its about babies welfare. I gave up smoking and alcohol altogether. And still brestfeeding. My little is 5month old now. And I have got my figure back. :-)

WOW JENNIFER. Is this chick for real? Women are supposed to gain anywhere from between 25 (a little too low I think) to 40 lbs. during their pregnancy. There are also other factors involved, weight before pregnancy and how tall you are. I think she's a little on the small side and will ikely have a small baby. Your comment is rude to the other ladies that gain more. I'm thinking you're probably in your early 20's and have only 1 baby. Grow up.

Whew! I was worried because everyone keeps saying how small I am. You are a week ahead of me and even smaller. You are like me small to begin with so a little is a lot to us! Congratulations!
