About the pregnancy cartoons

After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

What is just great about this joke is the fact that my old mans name is Joe and while I was pregant he had more of a belly than me until 1 week before I delivered! I didn't get big.. When they say Brittany and Joe are having a baby...he looked like he was the one having the baby!

Samantha, you know the funny thing, we had a funny incident whithin the first week of us being married. I was walking through the living room with a safety pin and my husband gives me a funny look and backs away from me. I asked him what was wrong, and he asked me very nervously what I was planning on doing with the safety pin. That's the day I found out how truly terrified of needles he is. I knew he was scared of them but I didn't know his fear ran that deep. When he had to have an IV for his gall bladder surgery, he almost turned white under his tan! I felt sorry for him. He can't even really watch me getting an IV or getting an epidural. It's funny how that works out, my husband is a tough guy, but come near him with a needle, and he isn't all that tough anymore. LOL. Mean I know, but I can't help it.:) Forgive me?

I dont think men would be able to go through the pain. My bf complained when i took a splinter out of his finger. He wouldnt survive labor!

Men having a baby?!? That is too funny. I am currently starting my 9th week and I've been pretty lucky about not being too sick, but my husband gets a stomach bug and he'll complain about it for days after it's gone! There is no way he could go 3 months of running to the tiolet. Not only that, no beer for him would not be goood. He likes at least one or two a day. He wouldn't make it. NO WAY!! LOL LOL LOL

My B/F would die before he goes through that I joked about him having all the symptoms for me and he said "no way, guess again, I am not into that I will support you but i don't want it." It would be fun watching him go through that.

this was about my third idea... so it's pretty much your "battle of the sexes humor", which i apparantly can't get away from with the topic of pregnancy.

obviously, we know men can't get pregnant, but if they could-- you know this is why they'd still opt out... NO BEER!
