About the pregnancy cartoons

After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

Like others, I didn't even think about the anal aspect of things. Gross! I only thought about the poor sense of direction those little swimmers have and how often they leak southward or dribble when you shift or get up afterward. LOL!

Yes, you just have to laugh and take a chill pill on these. I highly doubt the comic creator was inferring anything gay or indecent by the quotes.

I think that this comic is great whether it is refering to the "buttsex" or to how sperm does not always stay where it should when you get up. It is important to just laugh sometimes and if you do not find it funny then there is no need to ruin everyone else's fun with it. Maybe you just did not get it at first?

This has to make anyone with a sense of humor laugh. Next you might want to add a cartoon about the little guys swimming up to the tonsils instead of the ovaries. Then they know they're in trouble.

this was one of the spermie cartoons that evolved from a rather oblique reference to france... i couldn't quite let the uranus joke go (and it's dubious implications).

anywhooo... i think this took me all of 35 minutes to whip up. it's cute, easy, and evokes more of a snort than an outright laugh.
