About the pregnancy cartoons
After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

I already felt that way before I got pregnant. Now I am definitely all for this comment. lol. Everytime I say it or think about it, it happens a year or two later. for instance prom queen. lol
I'm not showing either, but it won't be long. I get really big when I'm pregnant. No thanks to all the Resees Peanut butter cups.:( I was addicted to those when I was pregnant with my second. Now with my third, I'm craving watermelon. It's no where near summer. Oh well, we live in Texas so I don't think I'll have a problem getting a few early ones. Good luck everyone!!

I am almost 7 weeks and this is hilarious. I love my body...look like her now. Don't know what I am going to do in a few more weeks when I actually do show. Not to mention after the baby is born.
HA! i like dis one well i just found out dat i'm pregnant w.my 2nd child...and my estamite is dat i'm 6 wks..i feel so big and people think i'm having twins...it does run in the family..anyways bye

My hubby and I got the humor in this one right off the bat!
the idea is that she's super-fertile (attractive) and just waiting to get knocked up.
unfortunately, i'm not sure how many people will get that from the way i ended up putting it together.
on the other hand, i still think it's a nice little "slice of life" sort of panel.
