About the pregnancy cartoons

After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

When I was 38 weeks my puppy pee'd on my bed and I sat in the puddle. I went right to the hospital thinking my water broke. All the nurses tried to convince me that I wet MYSELF. I had JUST come from the bathroom when it happened so I know it wasn't me, it had to have been the dog. But it was so embarassing for them to come in and be like, umm, lady we tested this liquid and its pee!
