After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

another panel concept from the oh-so inspired humor of our sarcastic journalist.
it takes a few seconds to get the gist of this one, but i think that's what makes it enjoyable. i love the expression i managed to get on the woman's face.
for some reason the guy's shoes really really bug me. i don't know why. they just look clunky and don't fit with his image.

i think this is great, but i think if you had a sign saying what kind of office she was in ... people would get the joke faster.
I thought it was halarious, other people were like... "... (OHHHH) i get it, ha"
but still very funny
you're very talented

I joked with my last pregnancy (#3) that I gave eviction papers to her at 32 weeks since I was so impatient and comfortable. I then joked that this pregnancy would be close to the same. I am 36 weeks today and I have begun the eviction process. When I ran across this cartoon this morning, I thought it was so cute and it gave me a good giggle.

With my son, I almost didn't want the pregnancy to end. I was curious to meet the little kicker, but at the same time, I was sad to see it end.
