About the pregnancy cartoons

After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

I just walked into a birthing center to sign up for a tour and a woman was screaming her head off. I've never heard such screams in real life before... except in movies. It really freaked me out!

I'm 25 weeks as of today and I have seen the birthing rooms at the hospital; however, our hospital is moving to a new facility before I have the baby so I have no idea what the new ones look like yet, but I have heard they are amazing.

LOL. I'm 39 weeks and so uncomfortable right now. That labor room sounds real nice. Once your right around your due date, it becomes much more comfortable to carry a baby in your arms then in your belly.
