About the pregnancy cartoons

After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

I am loving being pregnant. I am enjoying my bonding time with my child before anyone else gets the chance. I get to feel the first everything. I wouldn't want pregnancy to be shorter. I love it.

Yeah how about eating the babies "waste" and licking their butts to stimulate bowel movements? But I do like the idea of being able to lay down and have the baby crawl up to me to eat!

I wish it was a bit faster too, but at the same time, I love all the excuses I can give for not wanting to do certain things too. Hehe. Terrible I know, but if you don't milk it when you're pregnant, later you won't be able to. So have a free for all, especially if it's your first and your hubby's clueless! I wish I would have done more with my first, now it's too late. He got smart. Opps to many doc's visits!!

my cat delivered in the liter box. when i went to clean it, i moved them and she killed them. *tear* i was young and didn't know they don't like the scent of others on their babies. plus they eat all the stuff that comes out besides the babies. can you imagine eatin your placenta then killin the baby cause your mid wife cleaned him up??? nice comic though wish human pregnancy was that fast.

Yeah, but I don't want 5-10 babies at one time. And think of those poor female elephants, two years, yeah, that sounds fun.
