About the pregnancy cartoons
After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

this is one of the odder ones i came up with (all by myself-- i'm such a big girl!).
i rather like it-- although the humor is a bit slow to hit the viewer. and it's definitely a little unfair to those los angeles moms who aren't creepily image obsessed.
still, i can imagine a LA baby-shower like this going down without too much effort.

HAHAHAHA!!! You know what? I am a Southern Cali girl born and raised and YES! I can TOTALLY see this happening!! Sadly, some of my friends baby showers were probably like this!
