About the pregnancy cartoons
After many sleepless nights spent pondering the humorous nature of pregnancy, our yet-to-be-pregnant cartooning artist realized she was going to need some help from moms who'd been there. Happily, a beautiful collaboration between the artist and our snarky freelance mom blogger, the sarcastic journalist, sprung up to save the day! The humor was conceived together and each panel was hand-drawn by our relieved cartooning artist.

With my other pregnancys I was so sick I couldnt move.. Lucky for me this time I havent been getting too too sick.

i didnt start puking until i was 6 months pregnant i was opposite from others i had no problems in the beginning but had mourning sickness towards the end
I am almost 11 weeks and this is my first pregnancy.I never got morning sickness. All I have is a little crampping my breast hurting bad heartbrun and that is it.
that is not funny im 11 weeks and lost 16 pounds in less than 3 weeks
when i was 11 weeks this made me smile so much, it was kinda true at the moment. I had terrible morning sickness at 11 weeks
I have only got sick twice. Its my first child I feel pretty good
i had the worst morning sickness ever! im in the Navy and i lived in barracks so i had to jump outta my rack which is like 5 feet tall and run down the p-way (hall way) to the bathroom to puke. it sucked so bad!! i hated it with a passion. and all my fiance would do is laugh.
I'm 11 weeks and the only sickness I've had was the stomach flu in week 4 (my hubby got it 3 days later). I guess I'm lucky!!

Oh my goodness.. That's me. I have been so sick... even admitted to the hospital to get constant fluids while my husband is just sitting there feeling fantastic. And I want to know who started calling in "morning sickness"? Mine is ALLLLL DAY!
This cartoon pretty much is my life in a picture. I keep a big pot with me all the time. I have avoided a lot of messes because of this handy, washable companion. It is best to line it with a bag if going out in public though. I'm almost three months and it isn't letting up. Thanks for the humor.
Lyssa, I don't hate you but I am a little jelous!! I only got sick a couple of times with this one but with my first two I was constantly in the bathroom. With my daughter all day and with my son usually it passed by lunch time. God bless you that you haven't been sicker. I'm happy for you. God bless!
i'm 3 months pregnant and i neva have drank alcohol
and neva will. So i just keep 2 orange juice or cola
I was so sick with my first but eventually at around 5 months it went away. With my second I was in the hospital because I got pretty sick. Now with my third, I got so sick one day that my hubby had to bring our kids to a sitter. Then the other night I got a stomach bug and I had to throw up 3 times. That's the most so far. But I won't be out of the woods until February. So we'll see.
this is the only good reason i have ,so i dont have to go to school:"MORNING SICKNESS" jajajja LOL
this is DEFinetly one of my favs. With my first two pregnancies I wouldnt have know what it was like but with this one!!!!!!!
i love this one, it made me think of my first two pregnancies where i becme best friends with my toilet i even named it, pod (puke or dryheave)!
I was just remarking to my husband yesterday morning that I have felt hungover for the past month!! So true, so true. No party just the morning after. Blah.
All I have to say is that I think you should have added a little backround like a window showing the moon or something because I have a lot of vomiting and sickness and it's NOT ALWAYS IN THE MORNING. It's in the middle of the night, at dinner time, whenever my body feels like it's time. Very nice though.

This cartoon is so true and very funny. I'm 11weeks and I don't vomit but I have nausea every morning when I wake in the mornings and in the middle of the day and every night.
im at the start of my 11 week I dont get morning sickness lucky me haha but its not that I dont feel like poo cause I do.
that is me to a T. after a while my husband stopped asking if i was ok because all he got was the wave of the hand.
i have to say even tho lots of women say thia its true its funny becouse i am eleven weeks hitting twelve and i still havent had morning sicknes or vomitting at all i guess i am lucky

They say all thats supposed to end after the third month, but I'm still having hangovers... LOL...But it's all worth it :)
oh boy i feel like this now ..but everytime i feel nauseus i just cant vomit and i kind of wish i would because then the pressure wouldnt be so intense on my stomach :( ...man how do u deal with this!?!??! the dizziness and the feeling of passing out and everything you smell ..smells bad .. and riding on a train while being all of these things is the worse :( ... first pregnancy ... dieing to pass the first trimester lol
I am in week 7, and sick ALL the time. So much for getting nutrition, calcium, whatever to the little one. Nothing stays down. I must say, your comments about being ill until 25 weeks, or God help us, 8 weeks POST partum, make me weep. I am going back to bed.
I really love this one... I vomited until 25 weeks! ... I recently sent it to a co-worker who sent out an e-mail on who was bringing the wine for the pot-luck! ..It was my nice way of saying,... HEY REMEMBER ME?? PREGGO WOMAN THAT CANT HAVE ANY?? lol!
I am sick morning, noon, and night! Whoever called it 'Morning Sickness' was full of it or obviously never felt like me! And I often compare it to being hungover 24/7 WITHOUT any of the fun benefits of being drunk the night before!
I vomited until my first was 2 months old, now I am 15 weeks pregnant with #2 and its not seeming any better. God MUST be a man!

Dont smack me around and Im only 11 wks because most of time I get out of morning sickness is nausea but just threw up 1 time thats it. Its my fave cartoon.

and i really do feel like it's a cruel injustice that most women end up with morning sickness AND they can't drink alcohol.
